Event Highlights
Historic Setting
Each year, Paint the Town takes over one of Nashville's most distinctive historic spaces. Past venues have included a former church, an industrial district and building, and each shows how a landmark can find new life through adaptive reuse. The setting is part of the experience.
Guests of Honor & Awards
Each year, we celebrate the people who help Nashville see and cherish its places. The Sondra Morris Impact Award recognizes a leader whose vision, talent, and service have strengthened the city's historic fabric. Our guest of honor, an artist, storyteller, or advocate, reflects the lasting spirit of preservation.
Community & Connection
Preservationists, neighbors, artists, and civic leaders gather from across the city. They share good food, lively conversation, and a belief that Nashville's character is worth protecting.
Local Artists, Live Painting, & Auction
Local artists create in real time, capturing beloved Nashville places on canvas. Guests bid on one-of-a-kind original works, and every sale supports preservation advocacy, education, and hands-on projects.
